Choose LOVE
Love Heals and begins with your most important
relationship…yourself
I am spending Valentines Day with me. At times, this can be my most challenging
relationship. Sometimes, I can be my own
worst enemy. Sometimes, I let my fears
sabotage my dreams and sometimes I struggle to get out of my own way. I am stubborn, an extremely hard worker, and
aim to “under promise and over deliver” as we used to say in the sales world. I preach that I do not believe in “no pain, no
gain” but continually find myself pushing myself that much harder instead of
letting go and trusting that I have enough and I am enough.
I know that I have enormous potential and I know that I am
not always allowing my best self to shine.
I recognize that I am not always working in “the zone”.
Today, I quote Brad Frost, my son in law…I choose LOVE. Self love that is…yummy, nourishing, soulful
love. I truly believe that our purpose
on this Universe is to grow and flourish and heal and to do so we need to spend
more time in the zone. The zone is when
you are so passionate about something that you lose yourself in the
process. When you are in the zone you
are energized and you are inspiring.
What is it that makes your heart sing? What is it that makes you feel happy, calm, and
blissful? Will you allow yourself time
and space to explore these questions?
Will you allow yourself time to rest, relax and have fun? Play is the playground for discovery and
growth. For me, play is sharing and connecting in a deep meaningful way. For me, play is dancing and yoga is a
wonderful way to connect with your self as well as to open up the blocked
energy centers in our bodies. Combining
these elements bring me peace and joy and love. And Love is the highest form of healing and the
highest energetic vibration in the universe.
You can feel the difference. A
heart in love is physiologically different then a heart in pain, anger,
jealousy or resentment. Both are
contagious so choosing self-care and self-love is in effect, the most loving choice
you can make for your family, friends and community. We’ve all heard the phrase, “If Momma ain’t
happy, no one is happy!”
Today, on Valentines Day, which will you choose?
Sending you Love from my heart to yours,
Happy Valentines Day!
